Harvest Fest 2010
Last year we raised $3,800 and several hundred pounds of food.
Enjoy fabulous fun, frolic, feasting and fellowship! Festivities begin with our 5:30 pm Harvest Service of Thanksgiving. The church, bedecked in beautiful wheat hangings, will once again exhibit the talents of so many parishioners. At 6:30 pm, after the communion service, we will retire to the Great Hall, festooned with autumn finery to enjoy an evening of good food, and sociable company. There will be music, entertainment, opportunities to find on an assortment of irresistible items large and small.
We are a joyous community centered on a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ. People who attend our church grow spiritually, finding ways to deal with life’s stresses and problems.
Come experience:
- Engaging sermons relevant to daily life
- Inspiring music
- Enriching, energetic, and fun youth and teen programs
- Creative and nurturing Sunday School
- Open dialog-focused Adult Education
Come! Join a community of love, faith and hope!!

A Reminder:
Whenever we baptize a new Christian and then reaffirm our own Baptismal covenant, as we do on Easter Day, we know that Christ is alive.
Whenever we reach out beyond ourselves to touch brothers and sisters in need, as we did in our outpouring of gifts for Haiti and in our just-completed Lenten food collection, we know that Christ is risen.
Whenever we have gone through times of grief or trouble or disappointment and have found the presence of God giving us strength to carry on in hope, we know that Christ is risen.
Whenever we speak out and work for peace, harmony, and civil discourse in our hate-filled society, we know that Christ is risen.
Whenever we gather at the Altar to break bread as a parish family, and we can testify that God's presence and love is continuing to bind us together over a difficult year, we know that Christ is risen.
We know that Christ is risen, because we are ourselves witnesses to Easter. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!
—Peter B. Huiner
